France's Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.9% year-on-year in November 2025, matching October's rate, according to provisional estimates. The stability of inflation reflects a slowdown in service prices, mainly led by communication services, and a sharper fall in manufactured goods prices, offset by a moderate decrease in energy prices and a slight acceleration in food prices. On a monthly basis, consumer prices dipped by 0.1% in following October’s 0.1% increase, due to decline in service prices, especially in transport and communication services, and by cheaper manufactured goods. Energy prices are expected to rebound, driven by petroleum products, while tobacco prices will increase slightly, and food prices will remain stable. The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices rose by 0.8% annually, and fell by 0.2% monthly.
