Iran and Hezbollah Launch Coordinated Cluster Bomb Strikes on Israel in Major War Escalation

On day 11 of the joint US-Israeli campaign targeting Iran, Hezbollah and Iran launched a coordinated attack Tuesday, firing cluster munitions simultaneously at Israel. Senior researcher Kobi Michael confirmed that most of Hezbollah's rockets and drones were launched in sync with Iranian missiles, calling the strikes a deliberately coordinated strategy targeting civilians and civilian facilities. Cluster munitions, banned by over 120 nations under the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, burst open at high altitudes and scatter dozens of smaller bomblets across wide areas, making them extremely difficult to intercept. Tel Aviv remained under emergency conditions Tuesday, with sirens continuing and residents sheltering. The IDF launched airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut's southern suburbs, while Michael warned Israel cannot sustain this level of prolonged conflict indefinitely.
