Japan Industrial Production Beats Forecast, Signals Economy Resilience
Japan's Industrial Production rose 0.1% m/m in July, beating expectations for a decline and marking the fourth consecutive month of gains. Output expanded 4.1% y/y despite external headwinds. Retail sales also rebounded, reinforcing that the economy is absorbing shocks without significant momentum loss. This supports JPY strength.
