Poland Current Account Deficit Stable at 1.1% of GDP in July
Poland's external deficit held steady at 1.1% of GDP in July after a slight widening from June, remaining contained on a 12-month basis. However, ING expects deterioration ahead due to rising energy imports and a widening trade gap with China. EUR/PLN traders should monitor if external imbalances pressure the zloty and constrain NBP policy flexibility.
