President Donald Trump said he insisted that U.S. negotiations with Iran must continue after a private White House meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that lasted nearly three hours. Trump said the meeting was very good but nothing definitive was reached except his push to keep diplomacy moving to see whether a nuclear deal can be completed. Trump warned that Iran rejected a deal last time and was later hit by U.S. airstrikes. Netanyahu wants the talks expanded to cover ballistic missiles and support for militant groups, while both sides show cautious optimism after indirect Oman talks. Iran had enriched uranium to 60% purity before last year’s war that killed nearly 1,000 people.
