US Iran Agree End War Resume Oil Shipments 60-Day Nuclear Talks
The US and Iran reached a provisional agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, ending a deadly conflict and launching 60 days of nuclear negotiations. Oil shipments through the critical waterway will resume immediately.
The deal should strengthen risk sentiment and weaken safe-haven currencies like USD, JPY, and CHF. Oil-sensitive currencies including CAD and NOK may gain as supply concerns ease and geopolitical tensions diminish.
