how many trading days in a year, does Sunday count?

According to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange 2025 trading days schedule, there are 251 trading days in a year in the United States. The number of trading days may vary for other countries, but this data is for the United States only.

I usually plan around 252 trading days in a year, but it can change a bit depending on holidays. Some years I’ve seen 250 or even 253.
