I lost a trade due to internet downtime, would a forex vps have prevented this?

Took a buy trade and set a take profit (which was too far away so price never got to it) then when i wanted to close the trade manually my internet connection went off. Tried to fix the connection issue to no avail and by the time the internet was back i had lost the trade 😓.

Now, I have been hearing brokers talk about forex VPS that keeps you connected to the internet without interruption. So I want to know if a vps subscription would have prevented this loss. Thanks as you contribute.
