The hard trade is often the right trade, agree?

I was watching famous trader Tom Hougaard and I heard him say "the hard trade is often the right trade", and it got me wondering. How true could this be, does it mean if a trade seems easy it is probably going to end in tears?

Interesting point of view, for this one i will sit on the fence and let others answer because i neither agree nor disagree. 👩‍🦰

I have to agree. Imagine you have a trade that is already in profit, the natural thing you want to do is close the trade and walk away with the profit before your fortunes change.

However, the right & hardest thing to do is to actually open more trades on the same instrument so your profit becomes more. So yes, the hard trade is usually the right trade.

Yes I am afraid I have to agree. If it is easy to sell or buy then it is probably a trap.

The human brain is wired to avoid risk and play it safe, so yes, the difficult decisions are usually the most profitable even in trading.
