US30 opening time in South Africa explained

I always get the question "when does the us30 market open in South Africa" and I know it can be confusing for beginners but the quick answer is the us30 market is open 24 hours a day on weekdays but 3:30 pm UTC+2 is the best time to trade it because that is when the American stock exchanges open and price moves faster.

So, yes you can trade us30 at any time of the day but you will likely witness slow price moves and you will have to wait a longer time to make profit. But if you enter the market at 3:30 pm you will make profit faster because the big stock exchanges like NYSE open by that time and they will send in their orders causing the market to surge and move quickly. Hope this makes sense.

US30 or wallstreet30 index tracks performance of stocks of American companies with high stock prices. So, I always like to trade us30 immediately the major stock exchanges in America ring their opening bell. I agree with you, 9:30 am EST is when the US exchanges open but we must convert this time to South African time which you have done to get 3:30 pm SAST.
