Sorry to bother you all, but may i ask those who have traded with XM, what is their stop out level? I am not trading with alot of money so I need to know if they allow trades to run till the money in the account is finished before they close the trade.

20% is XM brokers stop out level for CFD trading accounts (Standard & Ultra Low) but if you open a Shares Account the stop out level is 0%.

What this means is that once your margin falls to 20% (please always monitor your margin level on your traders dash board) your trades will be closed automatically beginning with the least profitable trades.

The stop out occurs at 20% margin level, so even if you initiate a trade without inputting a stop loss, your entire trading account balance will not be wiped out if the market moves against you. At worst case scenario you will always have 20% of your account balance remaining in your account if you forget to use a stop loss.
