Is Vault Markets a Good Broker?

Vault Markets operates in South Africa but is not directly regulated by the FSCA.

Vault Markets was appointed to act as a Juristic Representative by RocketX Pty LTD. who are the actual FSCA regulated broker with FSP number 52142.

Vault Markets is only a representative of RocketX and must report all its activities to RocketX. You can say Vault Markets is merely renting the FSCA license from RocketX.

Because of this, we regard Vault Markets as a high-risk and less trusted broker since they are using the license of another broker.

Vault Markets Minimum Deposit in ZAR

Vault Markets minimum deposit is R50 for their Micro Accounts and R500 for their Standard Accounts.

You can trade with R50 on Vault Markets Micro Account, but you will not be able to trade on the Standard Accounts till your account balance is higher than R50.

Online Wallet

Upon registration of your profile, Vault Markets will automatically create a central online wallet for you.

The function of this wallet is to hold/safe-keep any monies you do not intend to commit to trading.

Monies held in your Vault Markets online wallet will not constitute part of your margin when trading.

Negative Balance Protection

Vault Markets provides Negative Balance Protection, an important risk management feature that ensures you’ll never owe the broker money, even if a trade goes beyond your available funds.

If a trade moves against you and your loss exceeds your available balance, this protection automatically prevents your account from going negative. Instead of leaving you in debt to the broker, your account balance will simply reset to zero.

All Vault Markets accounts have a minimum spread of 1 pip, except for the Zero Spread Account, which offers spreads starting from 0 pips.

2. Commission

On the Zero Spread Account, you pay commissions on each trade in exchange for lower spread. However, the commissions are not fixed so they can be increased any time; which makes it risky to use this account

3. Overnight Fees

Vault Markets applies overnight fees (swaps) on all trading accounts, except for the Islamic Account, which is swap-free and designed for traders who follow Sharia-compliant trading principles.

4. Inactivity Fees

Vault Markets does not charge inactivity fees but trading accounts will become archived after 3 months of inactivity.

5. Withdrawal Fees

Vault Markets does not charge any withdrawal fees, allowing traders to withdraw their funds without incurring additional costs. However, depending on the payment method used, third-party providers such as banks or payment processors may apply their own transaction fees.
