Yes, IG Australia allows you deposit in your local Australian Dollar currency.
If you intend to deposit in an alternate currency, the minimum deposit will become as follows:
- $50 Minimum Deposit if you are depositing in USD Currency
- 300 EUR Minimum Deposit if you are depositing in EUR Currency
- 450 NZD Minimum Deposit if you are depositing in NZD Currency
How Many Cards Can I Link To My IG Account?
IG Australia allows you link up to 3 cards to your trading account.
Since you cannot link more than 3 cards, you need to remove one card in order to add another. To do this, send a mail to IG Australia support.
Base Currency & Conversion Fees
IG Australia lets you open your trading account in the local AUD base currency as well as the international USD base currency.
There is also a 0.7% currency conversion fee that applies when the asset you are trading is in a different currency from your account currency, & when you deposit/withdraw in a different currency from your account currency.
