Germany is having two state elections today with AfD on ballots

Germany goes into two state elections today Sunday, and in one of the states the Alternative for Democracy (AfD) party is on the ballot. This is significant because the AfD party is anti-immigration and has just recorded some success in a previous state election (Saxony-Anhalt). An AfD win could be a threat to Merz future as Chancellor of Germany.
