Let me understand your argument: do you mean if I want to take 10 trades today, i should not take them on one instrument instead i should take them on different instruments across different asset classes?
The ability to absorb knowledge, most people who will go on to become good traders are always eager to learn from everyone. They dont walk past knowledge and not absorb
Unlimited leverage is like "naked shorting" in the stock market where you take a short position but you dont have the actual stock to backup your position. in CFD trading, brokers that offer unlimited leverage will allows you open an unlimited number of trades even when you do not have sufficient funds in your trading account. The moment your net loss exceeds your account balance, the broker will simply close all your trades and this can happen in seconds. Sometimes when you use unlimited leverage, you will find your account balance will be in the negative after a loss.
Raw spread accounts arent necessarily better/cheaper than standard accounts but they allow you more wiggle room when it comes to setting your stop loss and making it tight.
It''s harder than you think, dont beleive what the influencers say on YouTube. Currently I am using a demo account on Tradeovate to prctice trading futures then I will go live. I wish I had a mentor to guide me it would have been much easier.
Copy trading is you sitting back and letting what someone else trades on his account, be replicated in your account. Although you can choose to exit the copy trading relationship by unfollowing the strategy provider, thats about as much control as you get. Social trading has to do with someone sending you signals as we see on Telegram channels and you choose whether or not you will trade the signal.
There is no evidence to support the claim made by some prop firms about copying trades of those who buy their challenges. This is why I hope regulation of prop firms will come fast so that some of these claims can be subject to regulatory scrutiny. Some people will say since the prop firms do a profit split it means they copy your trades, but there is no evidence to substantiate this claim. It could be that they prop firms make the claim of copying your trades to justify why they do a profit split with you.
I use Robinhood to trade options, they are not like regular brokers who offer CFD trading. You can also buy stocks easily at Robinhood, so with as little as $1 you can buy fractions of a stock. What I don't like about them is that their customer support is not the best when compared to rival investment platforms in the UK like Fidelity & Trading212.
I just look for similar U.S. jobs reports that have some kind of correlation to the NFP jobs report. For example, the ADP jobs report tells us how many new jobs were created in the U.S. non-farm private sector so it could give you a clue as to the direction the NFP report could take.
Although the U.S. ADP jobs report only takes the non-farm private sector into its calculation; you could use it as a guiding light.
Futures are a financial contract between two parties on the terms that one will buy a specific amount of an underlying asset, for a specific price & at a specific future date; from the other party.
Futures are no joke, cos they are legally binding and trade like normal securities on various exchanges.
Futures contracts usually have a lifespan of 3 months and they are known to expire on the 3rd Friday of every month. When they expire, they can cause sudden volatility in the market and some call the expiry hour the "witching hour" because of the sudden volatility that may occur.
Futures contracts expiring on Fridays is one reason why they say Friday is a bad day to trade forex
CFD trading is hard because its not just about being a master of technical analysis, you also have to be a master of your own emotions.
Yes, US100 means an index that tracks the health of 100 biggest U.S. companies listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange and some people choose to call it NAS100.
I am also thinking of buying a trading robot because my emotions will not let me trade without interference. I think i should just let the robots do the trading.
around 95% of those who take prop firm challenges usually fail, this are legit statistics i saw on maven prop firm legal docs. This means it is not a walk in the park, just because you recorded some success on a demo account doesn't mean you are ready to face a prop firm challenge. Perfect your craft more using a real account so you dont waste your money on prop challenges.
