Your sl was too tight

Yes because my account drawdown is very low if I accumulate big losses I might blow the account

My setup

XAUUSD BUY LIMIT: 4135.50

Why 4135.50?

Price swept the lower area around 4132.87 and rejected strongly.

The subsequent bullish displacement broke back above 4144.29, showing buyers taking control intraday.

The grey box around 4134–4137 is the most logical retracement area after that displacement.

4135.50 sits inside that demand/FVG area, giving us a better entry rather than buying at 4150.

If price retraces deeply and accepts below 4132.87, the bullish idea is invalidated.

SL: 4131.80

TP1: 4144.29

TP2: 4152.40

TP3: 4161.20

The main idea is: liquidity sweep → bullish displacement → retracement into the imbalance → continuation.

Gold after accumulating on 1min timeframe has actually broken above without coming back to my entry and it's now closed to my tp so I will just remove the limit order and look for another opportunity

A
@asuquokelvin - 12 hours ago

Gold is reacting from a good point of interest, making series of accumulation on the 1min timeframe a sweep above 4170.322 and a break below a key level on 1min timeframe will give more sells opportunities

@asuquokelvin - 12 hours ago

Gold sells off just kicked in, but without the sweep am not really interested

@asuquokelvin - 12 hours ago

For gold I think this was that retest I was waiting for, I will wait for price to reject for me to join the buys the sells was just a scalp but I want to trade in the main direction of the market, I will wait for price to reject the level from 30min timeframe then I will look for buys to the upside

@asuquokelvin - 11 hours ago

Price has been rejecting from 1min timeframe, showing multiple rejections, and from the higher timeframe price is bullish, I will hold my buys untill price invalidate it

Price took profit and the buy trade was a win

Price after taking profits is retesting the lower level of the double bottom, which signals bullish momentum
