On the fourth day of U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran, the conflict rapidly widened Tuesday as Israeli forces launched simultaneous attacks on both Tehran and Beirut, with Israeli troops crossing into Lebanon. Iran warned it would attack ships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, now closed. Drones struck a fuel tank at Oman's Duqm port, hit a U.S. base near Erbil airport in Iraq, and targeted the U.S. embassy in Riyadh. The U.S. ordered non-emergency staff out of Jordan, Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, and Kuwait, while the embassy in Jerusalem said it cannot help Americans depart Israel. Aviation chaos deepened as Air France-KLM cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh through Thursday, with KLM extending cancellations to March 9. About 30,000 German tourists remain stranded in the region, which began evacuating flights on Tuesday using Etihad, Emirates, and Qatar Airstrike.
