Fears of US Recession: Indian Stock Market Sees Record Decline

The India Stock Market Indices BSE Sensex & Nifty 50 have fallen drastically with SENSEX loseing over 2500 points to fall 3.1% & the Nifty 50 losing 761 points to fall 3.09%

Why are Indian Stock Indices Crashing?

1. Disappointing US Jobs Report: The US Job Reports released by the Labour Bureau showed an increase in unemployment of over 4%. Tis information triggered fears of a recession in the US & this fear has had a ripple effect in India.

2. Goldman Sachhs Recession Rating: Goldman sachhs has said the likelihood of a US Recession over the next 12 months has increased by 30% and this has made investors panic and begin a sell off.
