The weekly EIA US Natural gas report came out bullish yesterday, but the mare reaction was quite the opposite

I don't really use the 1% rule, I adjust my risk based on whether or not I have an A+ setup or not. For A+ setups I increase my risk and vice versa
Today EUR/USD price is sandwiched between several big orders, so we might just see a ranging day with no clear direction

So technically, a carry trade is just selling a low interest rate currency on margin, and using the proceeds to buy a high interest currency; but you must keep the trade open overnight to earn the interest rate differential
EXAMPLE
BUY USD/JPY is a carry trade, because you bought USD which has around 4% interest rate reward by borrowing JPY and paying 1% interest rate only; your differential reward will be 3%
