Please I would like to know when to add to a profitable trade. For instance if i am trading gbp/usd and my trade is in profit, at what point do i open additional gbpusd trades to make more profit?
if the unrealized profit is large enough to cover the margin requirements for an additional trade, then I would go ahead and open another position.
I try to maintain a margin level of at least 400%, so for me if opening additional trades will not deplete my margin level I will do so.
