RCG Raw Account Meaning

Somebody help explain the difference between RCG Markets Raw Account and RCG Markets ECN Account. I thought raw accounts come with commission charges but the RCG Raw Account does not seem to have any commissions. Thanks

The RCG Markets Raw Account type offers spread as low as 0.0 pips on certain popular instruments only while the other instruments are charged a spread from 1 pip.

Whenever RCG Raw Account charges you raw spreads from 0.0 pips, they will require you pay a commission in return, so I will say the RCG Raw Account is a hybrid between a Standard Account and an ECN Account.

Unlike the Standard Account, the RCG Raw Account requires your account balance is up to a certain amount before you can open a trade.

The Raw Account on RCG Markets is a trading account type that offers competitive spreads starting from 0 pips, with no markups or commissions, and is suitable for experienced traders who want direct market access and tight spreads

An ECN (Electronic Communication Network) Account is a type of trading account that connects traders directly to the market, allowing them to interact with other traders and liquidity providers.

Key Features:

- Variable spreads

- Commission fees apply ($7)

- Direct market access (DMA) execution model
