People will always have complaints, but most of the bad reputation comes from two things: beginners losing money on high-risk synthetic indices, and people falling for fake "account managers" on Telegram or WhatsApp. Deriv isn't for everyone, but as a platform, it works completely fine if you actually know what you're doing.
