technical indicator installation question

Please I would like to know, I am considering selling my laptop and getting a new one but there is a technical indicator i installed on MT5 am I going to lose it? or will I need to reinstall the indicator when I download MT5 on the new laptop?

I think you may need to reinstall the indicator because I doubt if MT5 has the capacity to store that kind of info

This is actually a good question, but once you uninstall MT5 from your current system, all indicators should be lost too. Try installing the indicator via MT5 web and you should be able to carry it over to your new laptop
