I've been waiting for someone to say this, 'DISCIPLINE"

Cos it's one thing to be consistent in trading and it's another thing to be consistent while also disciplining urself to always stick with what gives you an edge.

There's a big difference, but most people just choose to blur the lines between these 2 ideologies. So instead of consistently trading their edge, they just trade randomly

No matter how disciplined you are, sooner or later your emotions will always win. The solution to this discipline issue is using technology to enforce guardrails. For example if you say your daily loss limit is $10, sooner or later you will exceed it, it's just human nature. The other solution is to build a software that will lock you out of your trading platform once the $10 daily loss limit is reached. The brokers know this, and they patiently wait for the day your emotions win and you return all the profit you made back to them. LOL

I think determination and willingness to learn . Believing that everyday is an opportunity to refine your skill to higher percentage more than before.

For so many reasons: one of the reasons is because, it gives you signals on when or whether to buy or sell, and in turn makes u lazy to do ur own technical analysis

You may even end up buying in a bearish market or vice versa.

Also, AI trading doesn't really work well with ranging markets

For AI... is bad thing in trading. Though it assist but once one putting all his/her trust on AI. It becomes nuisance to the person growth.
