will i get a refund if price gaps over my stop loss?

So guys, I know guaranteed stop loss is meant to take care of the gapping problem and so forth but heres my question: for brokers who dont offer guarnteed stop loss what if price gaps/jumps over a stop loss without triggering it, will the broker refund the loss to the trader? Tnx for you replies
