US30 with SLk Strategy Replied 2 months ago - What did I learn from this loss? I learnt not to be greedy and always follow my plan . My plan for this trade was to take profits at 1:1r, market even did more than 1:1r but i didnt close cos i wanted more. Greed took over and i abandoned my plan. Pls learn to stick to your trading plan.

Currency Correlations: A Guide to Forex Profitability Replied 2 months ago - Knowing this one must ask him/her self what happens when one currency pair fails to follow the above pattern. For example lets say GBP/USD makes a higher high while EUR/USD makes a lower high. This is defined as a crack in correlation or falling out of correlation. Whichever you prefer. When two positively correlated pairs fall out of correlation at a major support or resistance level we can expect a reversal. which currency pair is most profitable in forex? Replied 3 months ago - I guess the relevant question to be asked is "which currency pair is the least volatile" because when a pair is not too volatile, your risk is lower leading to a chance for more winning trades. So I think EUR/USD is the least volatile pair to trade and another good thing with it is that it has the lowest spreads of any currency pair and the liquidity is high since market makers always use eur/usd options to hedge their fx exposure.

Replied 9 months ago - Futures Pricing & Cost: Futures trade on exchanges every day so the price will be displayed, and the price also fluctuates according to market forces. You can click on any futures to see the contract specs. In the image attached, we see a Platinum Futures (PLV5) trading at a current market price of $1,359. However, from the contract specs we see that each PLV5 contract contains 50 troy ounces of platinum so the notional value of the contract will be ($1,359 x 50 ounces) = $67,950 When you buy and hold a futures contract overnight, it will be marked-to-market meaning you will be debited if the final daily settlement price is lower than your entry price. You will also be credited if the final daily settlement price is higher than your entry price.
