anywhere the spread is low, the leverage is also low; why?

Its kind of frustrating that all the brokers I have seen offering low spread always have low leverage. This matters to me because I wanted trading oil with $20 with this low spread broker but when I checked the leverage they offered it was too low meaning the margin requirement was gonna be too high

You're not alone on this, and this is why people keep using high-spread brokers because there are mostly the ones who offer high leverage

as in.... I feel your pain oh. You finally find that low spread broker but the low leverage means you can't do anything with them
