The credit agricole USD month-end prediction model has looked at how equities performed this month and pointed that the equities performed well hence there is likely going to be a strong US dollar sell-off by the end of this month. The model took particular note of the EUR/USD combo and pointes that the sell-off will affect this pair more.

The US Dollar sell-off has begun, this means as portfolio managers sell the dollar, it will weaken. So, the USD is weakening against the Euro hence EUR/USD exchange rate is going up. A good opportunity for bulls.

The us dollar sell-off happened during the New York session, but it was mild. i actually traded this, during Frankfurt I was long and was adding to my winners until I got stopped out.

Mild US dollar Buying By Tomorrow Month-End

The Credit Agricole bank portfolio rebalancing model predicts that tomorrow (which is the month end), there is going to be mild us dollar buying which will mostly affect EUR/USD and USD/SEK pairs.

The prediction model cites strong equity performance in June as well as strong USD performance in June as the basis of its prediction.

So, we could see EUR/USD price falling tomorrow (away from the London FIX or towards the FIX)
