do you use take profit or do you exit trades manually?

If i may ask, when you trade do you use take profits, or do you keep monitoring the trade and exit manually? i am always skepticak about take profit because i feel i might set it too far away out of greed.

For me, I use take profits when i am trading during night hours of the Asian session because i may fall asleep and if i do, the take profit will secure my profit when triggered.

I always use take profit because i once had a bad experience where i was up 50 pips before i lost my internet connection and by the time it was restored the trade was in a loss.

I USE BOTH. THE SETUP OR MARKET REACTION WILL DETERMINE THE ONE TO USE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
