does Trading 212 require same minimum deposit for investors & traders?

I like that Trading 212 allows both stock investing and CFD trading but please what is the minimum I need to start?

The minimum for CFD trading and Investing is different.

If you want to trade CFDs the minimum deposit is $10 but for investing you can start with a minimum deposit of $1 which can fetch you fractional shares.

No — Trading 212 does not require the same minimum deposit for all types of accounts. The minimum you need depends on the account type you choose: investors vs traders (CFD/forex).

No — Trading 212 does not require the same minimum deposit for all types of accounts. The minimum you need depends on the account type you choose: investors vs traders (CFD/forex).

1.Invest / Stocks Account (for long-term investing)

You can start with as little as €1 / £1 / $1.

This account is used for buying and holding real stocks and ETFs.

2.CFD / Trading Account (forex, commodities, indices, leveraged products)

The minimum deposit is higher, commonly around €10 / £10 / $10 (or equivalent).

This account type is used by traders, especially if you want to trade forex, CFDs, crypto, etc.
