is asia session the same as sydney session?

When people talk of the asian session they are referring to a combination of the sydney and tokyo sessions. Sydney opens first, then after some hours tokyo joins in but they are all characterized by slow price movement so why not just call both of them the Asian session right? It doesnt really make a difference.😌

I think Asian session is just a general name for the sessions of Tokyo & Sydney because they start just hours apart.
