Is Futures Trading Hard?

Okay so I noticed I dont see many people talking about futures trading, and after asking some questions the general impression i have is that futures trading is difficult so many steer clear. To the traders in the house, has anyone had an experience trading futures and is it as hard to trade as they say?

It''s harder than you think, dont beleive what the influencers say on YouTube. Currently I am using a demo account on Tradeovate to prctice trading futures then I will go live. I wish I had a mentor to guide me it would have been much easier.

Futures are not for the average trader, they are for extremely experienced traders with vast investing background. Every futures contract is marked-to-market when you leave it open overnight and this is just not chargin swaps like in CFD trading. When the broker marks your futures contract to market at the end of each day, the closing price (difference) of the underlying asset whose futures you bought will be deducted from or added to your account balance. Calculating the value of a futures contract is also a bit more complex than finding pip valu in CFD trading. Futures move with ticks abd each tick has a dollar value stated in the contract and the value can be big.
