Is RCG Markets Good for Beginners, Do they have Micro Account?

I'm seriously thinking of trading with RCG Markets but do they have Micro Accounts? because I want to learn to trade Gold which is a very volatile instrument so I need to risk little capital which I can do with a Micro Account.

I also forgot to ask how is their beginner support like?

RCG Markets is good for beginners because of the low 50 Rand minimum deposit & the availability of a Cent Account which you can also call a Micro Account.

The downside of RCG Markets is that their customer support is poor and their beginner education only scratches the surface. If you are a beginner, you may need to look elsewhere for beginner education because RCG Markets lacks a good one.

RCG Markets does not even have a live chat feature so reaching out to them is difficult but I discovered they are active in TikTok & YouTube. They also respond to emails.

RCG Markets has a Micro Account. When choosing your account type, opt for the Zero Cent Account because this is the account that has the features of a micro account.

When you deposit in Rand, it gets converted to US Cent currency. So if you deposit 50 Rand into the RCG Micro/Cent Account you get around 200 cents as your account balance.

For their customer support I have not used this broker so I do not know but looking at their website there seems to be no way to reach them except through email which is not good enough.

The Zero Cent Account is the equivalent of a Micro Account but it only works on the MT5 platform and has a reduced leverage of 1:500.

@Thabo, RCG Markets actually has a live chat but it is only accessible from your personal area (you will not see the icon on their website). But like you said, their customer support is not the best because you hardly get any response on their live chat.

Why I trade with them is because of the low minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal and their micro account.

RCG Markets to me is a good broker. Because they are quite new, you should not expect them to be as organized as older brokers in the industry. But they have good intentions & for the issue of people saying they have bad customer support, the fastest way to reach them is by email. They respond to emails on the same day.

alot of South African traders (especially beginners) use rcg markets because of the micro account and although their spreads are not the lowest it does not really matter except you trade frequently. Most people that use rcg markets are not frequent traders and are beginners interested in learning. I would say rcg markets is a good forex broker for South Africa and not internationally.

they have micro account but don't expect to make much profit trading this mini account. It is great for experimenting with new strategies or for learning how to trade. Micro accounts are also good for hedging for those who leave trades open for days to weeks,

Just because a broker has low minimum deposit does not make them good for beginners. RCG markets lacks adequate variety of trading software 9such as mobile apps, tradingview etc), they lack adequatte beginner support and their processes are generally slow. I wouldnt use them if I were a beginner even if their minimum deposit is low. I learnt how to trade with AvaTrade (not a recommendation) and they are the true definition of a broker good for beginners. other beginner oriented brokers include easy markets and trade nation.
