Hi @koms55, what was your reason behind taking this buy trade?

My strong advice is, do not trade outside the session hours. Pre NY starts at 12PM UTC (just now), it acts very similar to pre-Franky.

It can either fade or follow the previous sessions. Use the first 10-15M as your trigger, for example an opposite bar, that breaks a previous high or low, then trade it's break.

The trade that you took, I am unable to make sense of it. Can you add your explanation as to why you took this trade, before pre-NY.

This is my second trade; Nov 24, 2025. The experience is thrilling with a wonderful trainer putting me through. Though, i have actually been trading for the past weeks with a lot of blunders and loosing a lot until now that i decided to start posting my trade for reference purposes . i made 2 dollars today which is 10 peeps on a lot size of 0.02 and i am happy about it.. Thank God.

Today, the reversal occured late, during London. There was an initial fake reversal, followed by the real reversal.

I took 2 buy trades today and made a profit of 3 dollars on 0.01 lot size during New York session. My trade today was actually based on the CPI news release. I thank God for the progress .

This is my fifth trade after a few days of inconsistency to post my trades,

I also took a buy trade during the Franky session and I held it till afternoon but the US initial jobless claims news release spooked the market and I got stopped out. I actually knew the news was coming but forgot to close out early.

today, i took a buy trade at 0.01 lot size during London session for a while only for me to suddenly see a red candle forming very fast, prompting me to close the trade at a Doller loss. So, i decided not to trade again for the day due to the constant horizontal ranging of the market. Tomorrow will be better,

I also went into the market with a sell order around 1.1685 but had to close the trade and go out with a small loss around 1.1695.

Nothing works all the time, what matters in trading is what you do when faced with a loss; do you accept it or try to chae the market and recover?

The best thing is to accept the small loss and try the next day especially when your daily loss limit has been reached.

Trading is full of good days and bad days, today is just a bad day.

I traded the NFP news today and I entered three 0.01 lot buy trades immediately after NFP was released. Unfortunately, the momentum was not sustained and price fell to my stop loss.

When trading NFP, note the biggest candle that forms immediately after NFP release (sometimes it can be a 5 minute cande, sometimes it could be a 15 minute candle). But in this case it was a 5 minute candle.

Draw two lines at the top and bottom of the candle, then wait for price to break through any of the lines and trade the direction of the break. In this case the break was downward so you would have sold.

My trade today started with 2 buy trades at 0.01 lot size each at different times between 8 and 9AM during London session with my stop losses hit at different times ,causing me to pause for a while before taking the 3rd one which was a sell at the same lot size , set my stop loss at the price of1.1660, very far above where previous candles reached, switched off my system and decided to monitor the trade from my phone .

At about 1-30PM, i saw a whooping 2 Dollar profit ! Since i was in a meeting, before i could scramble to take the profit , it turned to a loss of nearly 2 Dollars ! However, i still left the trade to run for a while then closed it at 0,41 Dollars .

However, i still have an active sell trade running at 0.01 lot size with my stop loss set at 1,16660 where i am convinced it will not be hit, while monitoring and predicting gradual downward movement of price then take profit from this last trade.
