Every day before I start trading I always go to YouTube and watch videos of traders blowing their accounts due to revenge trading, it helps me condition my mind for the session ahead

when revenge trading takes over you totally lose control of yourself, as if some external force is holding your hand and placing the trades. Its a real menace

some days you can tell from the starting that its gonna be a bad day. The kind of day that every trader dreads. You wake up with a weird feeling, somebody annoys you, you start looking for stuff, you get pissed at someone and when you start trading all that negative energy follows you into the market. And, all it will take is one loss and it all comes crashing and you spiral out of control

Happened to me once, such a terrible memory, had $100 in my account, losses kept mounting and I couldn't stop placing new trades even if I tried. Like @sandy said, it was as if some invisible force was controlling me and placing the trades through me. I only snapped out of it when my balance was depleted to $2

Worst feeling is when you close a losing trade to cut losses, then you realize you shouldn't have done that so you get back in again only for it to result in another bigger loss

Any day I wake up feeling very confident, that is always the day I lose money and revenge trading shows its face

people who are trading to impress others, or who are trading with other peoples money and are supposed to give them a certain rate of returns are always the ones most susceptible to be bitten by the revenge trading bug

When you enter into a trade and in a few seconds your SL gets hit, you are most likely to get pissed and want to get back in immediately and that is the start of revenge trading
