My answer will be in Kenyan time. If you are a forex trader residing in Kenya, the Asian forex session starts by 1 AM in the morning and ends by 11 AM.

During the Asian session get ready to trade pairs like USDJPY, AUD/NZD, etc. as you will see lower spreads and better liquidity.

The Asian session is also a terrible time to trade pairs like EUR/USD so beware of it.

When we talk of the Asian session, remember its both Tokyo & Sydney we are talking of and they have different time movements.

Tokyo is ahead of Kenya by 6 hours & Sydney is ahead of Kenya by 8 hours.

The Asian forex session in Kenya starts by 1:00 AM but at that time only Sydney is active. You need to wait till around 3:00 AM for Tokyo to come online, so you get more liquidity. The end of the Asian forex session in Kenya is around 11 AM.

In summary the Asian forex session in Kenya starts by 3:00 AM and ends by 11:00 AM

The Asian session in Kenya starts by 3am and ends by 12noon.

Note: Japan does not use daylight saving time, so this time stays the same all year.
