Always back your entries with a Story, there is a reason he behind every move on the chart, don’t just trade entry patterns blindly, be very international about why, when and where you want take a trade from.
A lot of traders have been using these entry patterns for years now.
Structure
Liquidity
Point of Interest ( OB, MB, FVG, RB, BB, etc.)
The most simple strategy but it gives me very impressive results. You can see it in the chart, it’s very clear and simple. You can guess this strategy, can’t you?
I hope you can see this. 1st green is Asia NQ second London. Curious what would London be considered? It’s hardly trending, but accumulating in a downward expansion? I apologize for the questions, just think it’s cool.
Gold is in a clear intraday downtrend on M5. From 4367 high we made lower highs and lower lows down to 4339 low. That's a selloff of almost $28.
Yes coach, I'm in the market but flat. Sticking to my rule no Gold on Fridays until NY confirms. Watching AUDUSD for continuation.
Please explain the red dotted line you drew from price to RSI. Is that a divergence setup you're watching for sell?
6. Answer: A. A tool that allows traders to control a larger position with less capital ✅
Quick breakdown:
Leverage = Borrowing capital from your broker to open bigger trades than your account balance normally allows.
Example: With 1:100 leverage, $100 in your account can control a $10,000 position.
The catch:
It magnifies BOTH profits AND losses. More leverage = more risk.
To find X% of a number, just move the decimal.
Step 1: 1% of $1,000
Move decimal 2 places left → $1,000 → $10
Step 2: We need 2%
So just double 1%
$10 × 2 = $20
Answer: B. $20
5. What should you look for before entering a trade?
This is your "don't blow up the account" checklist. Pros run through this before every single trade.
The 5-Point Pre-Trade Checklist:
1. The Setup
Do you have a real reason to trade, not just FOMO?
Look for confluence: 2-3 things agreeing.
Ex: Price at support + Bullish candle + Trend is up = better than just 1 signal
2. Trend & Market Context
- Higher timeframe : Is 1H/4H/1D trending up, down, or sideways? Trade with it
- News/Events : Anything major in the next 30min? CPI, earnings, Fed news can wreck a trade
- Volatility : Is price moving too fast and choppy? Sometimes best trade = no trade
3. Risk vs Reward Math
Set this BEFORE you click buy/sell:
- Stop Loss : Where is your trade idea invalid?
- Take Profit: Where will you take money off?
- R:R: Aim for 1:2 minimum. Risk $100 to potentially make $200. Bad R:R = skip
4. Risk Management
- Position size : Risk only 1-2% of your account per trade
Ex: $1,000 account → max $10-$20 risk per trade
- Daily loss limit: Hit -3% today? Stop trading
5. Your Psychology
- Am I revenge trading after a loss?
- Am I tired, distracted, or emotional?
- Can I walk away if this trade loses?
1. PIP = The Ruler
Pip = "Price movement unit"
It measures how muchthe price moved.
2. LEVERAGE = The Rocket Fuel
Leverage = "Borrowed buying power from your broker"
It decides how big a trade you can open with your small capital.
4. Position sizing = Deciding HOW MUCH to trade so you only risk the amount you’re comfortable losing.
It’s NOT "how many lots or shares I buy".
It’s "how do I make sure this 1 trade only costs me $100 if I’m wrong".
Why it matters:
You can have the same $100 risk on a $10,000 account and a $1000 account.
Position sizing is what makes that possible.
