Why it happens:

When a currency crashes/loses trust, people rush to assets that hold value.

What to buy:

1. Gold/XAUUSD - Main hedge. Goes up as confidence in paper money falls.

2. Safe currencies: USD, CHF, JPY - Traders buy these vs the breaking currency.

3. US Treasuries/Bonds - For capital preservation.

Key Trading Rules:

1. Buy dips, don’t chase spikes - Panic buying gets volatile fast.

2. Watch liquidity - Spreads widen. Use less leverage + stops.

3. Watch central banks - Rate hikes or interventions can reverse the move quickly.

4. Local vs Global - If it’s your local currency breaking, gold in local terms usually explodes.
