Active today. AUDUSD H1: price below last 2 structure highs (0.7232 and 0.7126), RSI around 50 indecision. Waiting for displacement. Gold expecting pullback before buys.
8. Answer: A. When price takes out an area containing orders/liquidity before potentially reversing or continuing ✅
Quick breakdown:
A liquidity sweep = Price spikes above a recent high or below a recent low to "grab" all the Stop Losses and pending orders sitting there.
Institutions need that liquidity to fill big orders, so they push price to those areas first.
Why traders watch it:
After the sweep, price often reverses or accelerates in the new direction. It’s basically a "stop hunt."
