Another thing too, if I might add, is that a bearish market, experienced a pull back, a break of structure, which will in turn lead to another trend
The difference between the both markets is the fact that a ranging market is basically supply and resistance while a bearish market is filled with lower highs and Lower lows
Also,to long term traders a bad headline is just background noise, doesn’t really do anything for them. Although if they ignore these news and sometime fundamentals, it can lead to serious loss
Day traders rely on the news as an immediate catalyst because positions are closed before the market session ends. Volatility is its primary purpose.
Long term traders rely on fundamental shifts because positions are held for months even years
News matters just as much as it does to day traders to also long term traders, but the type of news and the time horizon for its impact are entirely different
