I didn't take a single trade last week, and from the look of things, I might not be trading again this week.

Life of a XauUsd trader. Lol

One thing I've learnt is that no matter how volatile the pair is, some days you won't see your setup and forcing it will only hurt you.

So I'll always advice anybody to get a life outside trading. That's one thing 7 yrs in this space has taught me.

Sometimes ........ Stop trying to catch every move. Missed opportunities are better than forced entries. Knowing when to trade and when not to is also a strategy.

Your point is very valid, but if you diversify, that is trading other pairs and also doing correlation you will notice that your strategy will definitely show up on other pairs except your strategy is just built for gold alone, example I trade BTC gold and other currency pairs and my strategy cut across all these pairs which is liquidity sweep there is no currency pair or commodity that doesn't carry out liquidity sweep especially for the BTC so you should create a strategy that can help you diversify as a trader for you to be consistent, I'm actually watching BTC right now based on BTC dominance BTC is weak dollar is also weak but BTC is still selling because BTC dominance is weak that is the first confirmation I have based on correlation so now I have marked out a 4-hour level and then drop down to 15 minutes time frame to check for structures and waiting for price to sweep the highs and a reverse back into range breaking a key structure level then I'll look for sells to the downside of the trend

Asian Currencies Stabilize as Optimism Grows Over Middle East Diplomacy

Several Asian currencies traded in relatively stable ranges after reports suggested progress in diplomatic discussions involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. Improving geopolitical sentiment reduced demand for traditional safe-haven assets and encouraged investors to cautiously return to regional currencies.

USD/JPY Traders Remain Alert for Further Intervention Risks

Foreign-exchange traders continue to closely monitor USD/JPY after recent intervention created sharp swings in the pair. Market participants remain cautious about holding large positions, knowing that Japanese officials could step back into the market if the yen weakens excessively again.
