The best trading advice I've ever seen is Trading View's slogan.

"Look first / then leap".

This has saved me a lot of money in the market.

In chess, we say "If you see a good move, look for a better one."

It is actually attributed to Emanuel Lasker, 2nd World Chess Champion.

And here's the idea: Don’t get lazy and play the first good move you spot. Pause, check if there’s something stronger, a tactic, a better square, a longer-term plan.

I brought this chess illustration because chess and forex trading have 1 thing in common - it's all about pattern recognition.

Don't be a lazy Trader. Take your time to thoroughly analyze your charts. Just because the pattern looks familiar does not mean that you should jump in immediately.

Remember to always "look first / then leap".

Sometimes instead of the market just rising 10 pips to your TP, it can choose to fall 50 pips first then rise 60 pips 😂😂
