So when we talk about correlation

Correlations means when two pair move in the same direction

We have two types

Positive and negative correlation

Positive correlation Two pairs move in the same direction.

Examples:

EUR/USD and GBP/USD

AUD/USD and NZD/USD

If EUR/USD rises, GBP/usd is likely to rise too.

Negative correlation Two pairs move in opposite directions.

Examples:

EUR/USD and USD/CHF

GBP/USD and USD/JPY (often)

If EUR/USD rises, USD/CHF is likely to fall.
