What's the market implication?

What caused the crash?

The KOSPI tumbled ~10% to 8,203.84, triggering a market-wide circuit breaker that suspended trading for 20 minutes after the index breached the 8% decline mark. The sell-off was driven by a combination of sharp profit-taking after a record rally, stretched valuations in AI and semiconductor stocks, and elevated leverage in the system.

The biggest losers were tech heavyweights β€” SK Hynix fell ~11.78%, Samsung Electronics ~11.17%, Hyundai Motor ~12.05%, and Kia Corp ~8.85%.

Global sentiment also played a role β€” the Nasdaq fell 1.32% on Monday amid a tech sell-off, and investors were cautious ahead of Micron Technology's earnings, which are being closely watched for cues on AI chip demand.

So answering your question

This looks more like a sentiment-driven deleveraging event after an extreme run-up, rather than a fundamental collapse. But it's a reminder that markets fueled by AI hype and leverage can reverse violently. Watch Micron's earnings closely β€” they'll likely set the tone for global chip stocks this week.

Your were supposed to take partials as price reaches some certain levels or you take full profits when price gets to levels like fair value gaps or zones with whole numbers like my gold trade that I took my entry @ 4182 my profit was at 4100 which is a whole number and there was a fair value gap from 4092 to 4205 which 4100 is also in that price range, so it is advised to take profits off levels like this so you don't get stopped out after a reversal either from a whole number or a fair value gap, because it often act as a magnet for price

The part where you talked about the Asian something like that and you were waiting for the network something

Asian session? Just reply to the comment directly I can't really remember , although I mark my Asian session from 1am to 8:59am check the image for example, that is my Asia session on gold so from 4198 to 4096 is my Asia range so if I want to trade on intraday I must consider that range before trading

May we see more of this + a blissful trading week.

The Dollar Index (DXY) has climbed to around a one-year high as markets react to more hawkish Fed expectations. Stronger U.S. yields are attracting capital into dollar-denominated asset.

Besides, why is GBPUSD struggling?
