Is every retracement in a trend also considered to be break of structure or is that just when the trend itself is broken?

Cause I'm hearing different things from different sources

As I bin no dey online, I say make I summarize.

Today's Forex market was dominated by strong U.S. Dollar demand as traders continued pricing in the possibility of further Federal Reserve rate hikes. The Dollar Index (DXY) reached its highest level in roughly 13 months, putting pressure on most major currencies.

Hope you didn't have the rug pulled from underneath you?

I think it's when the trend itself is broken cos I've seen that trends may be broken but structures can have patterns or trends in them with retracements. The structure is just the overall collection of the trend of which retracements happen in.

Example now would be BTCUSD of today and what it did. Another example was Xaausd after two big red candles, a green one was formed but not necessarily meaning that the structure is not pointing to a bull.

Traders are anticipating the following in the news.

1. U.S. PCE Inflation Data

2. U.S. GDP Revision

3. U.S. Jobless Claims

4. Any comments from Federal Reserve officials; incase it makes impact on the market

5. Potential Japanese intervention if USD/JPY rises further.

Stick to the bullish orderflow you see in the 1H timeframe. Enter sells when there's a choch towards the downside

Bro, take a look at this H4 chart, the structure is not even in a lower timeframe, it visible even in the D1 and w1

Forex Outlook for the Next Session

1.Bullish USD

2. Bearish EUR/USD

3. Bearish GBP/USD

4. Bullish USD/JPY (with intervention risk)

5. Bearish AUD/USD

In the meantime, these were the performances of the top currencies of the day in the picture attached but USD came out top.
