Happy weekend guys. The market is officially closed for forex traders, so let's have it.

How was your trading week? Was it profitable, did you lose this week or you broke even?

And what lessons did you learn from your trading this week?

Personally I didn't place any trade this week for 2 reasons:

1. T'was a very busy week for me so I didn't have sufficient time to properly analyze the charts.

2. I was not getting any confirmation on the setups I already have.

So, how was it for you, let's talk.

My best trading week since 2025 Q1 I really did so well am proud to have made new record of consistent profit this month 👏

Bad week for me, one day ruined it all. I was hit with a margin call and broker stopped me out only for trade to eventually move in my intended direction. I added to my winners but got stopped out. Lesson: dont add to winners if you dont have enough equity because the market can suddenly reverse

I just found out that it's better you hit that Sl and discover what happened than closing the trade when it looks like it was reversing to entery

For me it would depend on how far away the SL is from my entry. If I open a trade and it is in say $20 profit, and price starts reversing, I would take the $20 and wait for a break of structure back to the former direction and then I enter again. Some people call it the Japanese boat jump technique. It wont make sense to be in profit of say $20 and then watch it go away. However, if I the trade is not yet in a reasonable profit, then I may choose to wait for it to hit SL.
