Beginning the trading journey

As a newbie trader try and be taking pictures and videos of yourself now while doing analysis so you can have throw backs when you're profitable in some years to come.

I thought you will even say try and be taking pictures of your charts to create a trading journal which you can look back on in a couple of years and appreciate how far you have come.

getting into trading is serious business its not about taking selfies and there is only a 5% chance you will make it to steady profitability

Facts bro 💯 This is the advice I wish someone gave me early.

Document the struggle now so the win hits different later.

In 3 years you’ll look back at those messy charts + tired eyes and smile.

Beginning your trading journey requires details understanding the fundamentals, utilizing paper trading to practice without financial risk, and developing a risk management strategy. Trading requires a long-term mindset and should be approached as a business rather than a get-rich-quick syndrome, be ready to loss, have an open mind to let go of any hit.

I don’t think that timeframe is really realistic. Even after three years, there’s still a chance he could be struggling. Profitability in trading goes far beyond charts, screens, and available tools.

My honest advice is that he should first learn to master himself. Trading has a way of revealing who you truly are—it exposes your habits, emotions, and discipline. Without actively working on self-improvement, consistent results will remain difficult, no matter how many years are spent in the market.

You can still do your documentary using your tablets or your trading devices yesterday I was checking my documentary on the previous trades I took on USDCAD on the 29th April and the eurusd trade I took on the 27th April I sold Eurusd on the 27th April after a sweep of London session at 1.17506 then broke the internal support level at 1.17386 and when the candle closed with a full body I entered at same 1.17386 and sold to the next low at 1.16783 , then for the usdcad at 29th April sold after a sweep same London session at 1.36972 then waited for price to break below the the support level at 1.36716 then waited for price to retrace back and I entered short at 1.36881 held to next low at 1.35984, so journaling your trades is really good just take a screenshot of it and save it both the wins and loss
