I have same Idea but also keep in mind invalidation level Lets not be anticipating pullback meanwhile it's a reversal

I don't understand your fib. Your entry is at which fib level? for the buys, 23?

If I'm to use my fib as additional confluence for buys, the entry falls between 61.8-78.6 which is often the ideal range for a good retracement before buy retracements. reactions from 38.2 are often shallow retracements and don't give good continuations especially in early potential trend reversal phase like this one on Gold.

I have also noticed that silver sweeps internal liquidity while gold don't, it only sweeps external liquidity , but never the less still watching it using my fib retracement and it's still at resistance of that trading leg

How are you drawing your fib? because it looks upside down!
Which fib level are you looking at using for entry? Don't just draw it, if you don't intend to use it.
Stick to your normal SMC analysis and fundamentals, you're good at it.

This is how I understand a good application of Fib, I don't use them often anymore, cause my technical confluences aligns with fib levels by default, so I have to declutter my charts.

Thanks man

Let's observe how the retracement leg will behave

The retracement has started its drama. Gold used the 4044-price level to reverse (Arrows) which coincides with the 38.2 fib level (around it).
I'm still expecting it to pull back to my initial entry zone at 4024-price. it might reach the 4100-price level before the retracement back to my entry zone. But if it leaves it behind, I won't chase it.

Until price breaks above the 4102.94 level, Gold is still bearish

XAUUSD-I'm rooting for it to break it. so, it will invalidate this Weekly bearish trend channel. The Intra-day trend channel has been invalidated, now waiting for the Higher Timeframe Trend channel to be invalidated.

You understand fib retracement well in terms of your level ,if you will buy around 68.1 retracement, from 100 - 61.8 is actually a supply region, 50 is equilibrium below 50 is a discount level, so if your are buying from 68.1 that is for you, while for me I will buy @38.2 to 23.6

My point is, there's a proper way for drawing fib for buys or for sells, and they are not the same thing. You're drawing for a sell and using it for a buy. It's meaningful to you. But can be misleading for a beginner.
Our entry regions are the same, but the fib levels are reading differently, and that is not supposed to be so. Just like every other technical tool, if we are both using it correctly, we will be seeing the same thing on our chart not different things.

I'm more concerned about what the audiences on this platform are learning, especially beginners. I know the way you draw it makes meaning to you, but its misleading for a new person. That's my point.

Do you even understand fib retracement very well in terms of buying or selling? How will you buy around 68.1 retracement, from 100 - 61.8 is actually a supply region, 50 is equilibrium below 50 is a discount level, so if your are buying from 68.1 is that not a supply level?

That's because you are drawing it wrongly for a Buy entry. The way you're drawing it is for a sell entry, not for buys. I know it makes sense to you, but this can mislead a beginner on this platform that's why I'm concerned about it.

That diagonal line in a fib, is a pointer to which direction you want to use it for. whether for buys or sells. and yours is pointing downwards, which means you're drawing it to use the level for sells.

If you want to buy with it, you'll have to draw it the other way round.

I'm still bearish on Gold

How did this go? XAUUSD has formed a 1hr Bullish channel. have not presented an opportunity for me to buy I'll just follow it till it imprints my pattern for buys.

Alright. that's cool. What's your bias on Gold? you have any trade setup?

For me I can't find my usual entry yet, but would keep watching out for it to join the buys.

That's the high I'm talking about. That was the protected high which sponsored the sells, so price has to take it out to confirm the buys

I understand you but you are even more wrong, let's say you want to buy will you buy at that 0.0 level fib retracement you marked on your chart? It all shows you are not practical, because if you are then you will know that fib retracement analogy simple states that buy at discount which is from 50-0.0 then sell at supply which is above 50-100, now your 100 is at a discount level so will you sell there? Since your fib retracement tool is showing 100 at a discount level and 0.0 at the supply level just be true and realistic you don't apply fib retracement to your trading if not you will know that there is an adjustment to it and also fib can be turned upside down, it's not all about reading books what we read at time are not what we practice, even a beginner if you explain that above 59-100% is to sell and from 50-0.0 is to buy the beginner will expect 0.0 buy level to start from the down not from the top
