My Trading Summary — November 3, 2026

Today was another challenging trading day on my Blue Guardian $100K account. I took four trades across EURCAD, USDCAD, XAUUSD and EURUSD. The results were mixed, but the overall performance was negative.

I had one good winner on EURCAD, but losses on USDCAD and Gold took a significant portion of the account's equity. EURUSD closed with a small profit.

#My personal reflection

Today reminded me that having a good trading idea is not enough. Execution, risk management and patience matter just as much.

EURCAD delivered a decent profit but I was stopped out on partials, but USDCAD and Gold were the biggest setbacks. I need to pay closer attention to how much risk I expose across multiple positions, especially when trading several instruments within the same session.

I don't want to respond to today's losses by forcing more trades or trying to recover everything immediately.

My focus going forward is to remain disciplined, respect my risk limits and continue trusting my SMC Edge process. I need to improve my execution, protect the account and allow quality setups to come to me.

The objective is not to win every trade. The objective is to become consistently profitable while protecting my capital.

Tomorrow is another opportunity to execute better.

Comment: My happiness today is that I was able to recover my losses I incurred earlier from my NAS 100 and SP 500 trades that were triggered last night prior to Asian session.
I learnt one thing today, despite its a competition and it gives that rush and sensation of emotions to want to max out your loss limit in a bit to stay on top, the competition is just starting and it's best to protect the capital first, and compound profit at this early stage before I start going heavy on risk for greater rewards.

The competition is still early, and there's enough room for improvement and recovery.
I was down by 2% today; it's the limit orders that I had set that triggered during New York session and recovered the losses.
It's a little drawdown and you'll recover it, just stay on your plan. there's 28 more days to go.
