can different chart timeframes give conflicting prices?

I was doing some strategy testing today sunday and i noticed eurusd 1 hour timeframe shows me closing price for the 6 am candle of 9th may 2025 is around 358 while the 5 minute timeframe shows me the closing price is around 252, please how is this possible, why are the prices different?

Or could i be reading the charts the wrong way?

You are reading it wrong.

When you are checking the OHLC data of 5M candle at 6AM, it is OHLC data from 6AM - 6:05AM.

But when you are checking the OHLC of 1H candle, it is that 1 hour from 6AM - 7AM. Does this make sense?
